Guide · Jet classes

Which private jet do you need?

The class decides how many guests fit, how far you fly without a stop and how much luggage comes along. Here is what each one does, with routes it flies.

Questions

What size private jet do I need?

Start from the number of guests and the longest leg. A light jet seats up to six or seven and flies about four hours non-stop; for more guests, more luggage or longer legs, go up a class. Send your trip and we quote the classes that fit.

Can a light jet fly from Perth to Bali?

Yes. Perth to Bali is about four hours, within reach of a light jet. From Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane a light jet needs a fuel stop; a super midsize or larger flies non-stop.

What is the difference between heavy and ultra long range?

Both have stand-up cabins. Heavy jets fly about nine hours non-stop; ultra long range jets about fourteen, enough for Europe or the Gulf to Bali without a stop.

Is a bigger jet always more expensive?

Usually per hour, but not always per trip: where the nearest available aircraft is based often matters more. We quote the options that are actually close to you.

Seats and range are typical for the class; the exact aircraft, its load and the winds change them. Prices are indicative, one way, whole aircraft (Aviapages estimates). Compare all prices →
